1992 - Present Day

Everything and Nothing
Chaos and Revolution
Growth and Destruction

Our society has become more advanced
and less intelligent
with every new technological device we buy
We pay four zeros for one "I"

We may not be growing older faster
but we're definitely becoming more mature
Our lives are built on making things easier
yet things have never been more difficult

We claim our lives have never been better
Yet we've never seen more volunteer martyrdom
We say that there is so much advancement
That every thing's easier
Yet people seem to struggling more than ever

Sex is the new love
Texting is the new flirting
Blogging is replacing our novels
Books are becoming obsolete
No one wants to go out and buy a paperback
When you can read the same thing
in the comfort of a screen page

Chivalry has died
In replace of insults
and sarcasm
They make up the
new generation of
"Kindness"

We claim to be tolerate and loving
Yet we insult each other whenever we get the chance
We claim to be accepting
Yet racist jokes seem to be the only thing funny now

It seems that we'll talk whatever we can get
Quantity is the new quality
We hate ourselves for who we've become
Yet we advertise ourselves as the best thing yet
Insecurity has taken over the world

The Perfect Place ...

We dream about the perfect place. What would please all our senses in every way. A fantasy, and a utopia we can use to escape our current flawed reality. The idea of a perfect world is unique and personal to each individual. This is because as an individual we all have unique needs that suit out personality and character. Throughout my entire life, music has constantly and consistently been one of my strongest life influences. The mood, the lyrics and the story that each song tells is intimate and open to limitless interpretations. That's one of the things I love the most: There is a meaning or story for everyone to relate to.

The Perfect Place
Would be a professional recording studio
It allows me my own
Personal creative space
to write and produce music
or even to just write

It gives me a space of solitude
Allows me to reflect
Surrounded by inspiration
in both
what I see
and hear

Sentence Starters ...

Today in class we were given a number of pre fix sentences so to speak. We were then given a minute or so to finish them off with whatever we thought was appropriate.

This was our introduction to writing introductions to fiction stories as our next big assignment is to write our own fiction story. The section of the sentence that is separated will represent the part of the sentence our teacher gave us to finish off.

Today was | going to be the worst day of the year and I could still hear the words that caused it.

Today I am | not myself. It amazes me what simple words can do.

What I really want right now | is to get those words out of my head. The words that made this the worst day ever.

I deserve | nothing you've given me and everything you haven't

I believe love is | unconditional and illogical

If I had a year in which I could anything I wanted | I would spend that year producing an amazing rock album.

We were then to take our strongest and favorite sentence we had finished and turn it into a paragraph introducing us into a bigger short story. The goal is to entice the reader to want to continue reading to find out more about the story. This is what I came up with:

Today was | going to be the worst day of the year and I could still hear the words that caused it. They rang in my ear, taking turns stabbing at what I thought I knew. The words that weren't spoken but published; they hurt the most. It was those few words, that destroyed my once seemingly perfect life.

[Lost Innocence]

Cut out your eyes Oedipus
Blind yourself
From the reality you created
For yourself
Fiction is a blade away
It's a shame you had to waste it

Success at the failure of yours
is how the world works
Words that hurt like knives
Your face can only feel the ground and dirt

Spilled guts and no glory
that's your backstory
Your red fuel
pumps their madness
They long to see you bleed

Hung from the society
That raised you
Their sadist ways
have made
a masochist out of you

You tell them
That your death is only the start
And while they laugh
They tear out your heart
They fear nothing
Your death is meaningless to them

You are their enigma
Sufficient enough
To simply call you
"A"
Your name is meaningless to them

Your innocence , it didn't stand a chance. Not against them.

[Self Salvation]

Lets all sing songs
that make us slit our wrists
and watch the truth pour out

The horror in reality
is how far we'll go
to prove a lie
and silence the truth

well tonight
the truth comes out
at the touch of the blade

tonight we'll see exactly
how much blood you can taste
before your lack of conscience
tells you that you've had enough

I'll watch you cut me open
physically and mentally
and I'll do it with a smile

As your insanity searches
for the sanity behind my grin
I'll pull your knives closer
and whisper

"Thanks to you, we're both condemned"

- Francis Frustration

[Drugs]

Getting high
To escape the low
I can't wait
to watch you crash
from the burn

You're just another statistic with a face
One of the easiest to replace
Your smoke hides your features
Those white lines stained with
your red heart

You think your getting rid of your problems?
You think you've found an escape?
You can't escape, this is your fate
Don't be embarrassed
I can see your veins blushing deep red
as you fall to your death

Don't worry, I'll be with you soon.
After all,
We're all destined to die.

Darker, Bolder ...

I have decided to throw away the romantic poetic side to show the world a more and dark and real view on things.

It all started with a song .. and the mood it brought along with it ...
A song called "Bad Blood"
by a band called "Escape The Fate"

We all live to escape death... but we can't escape our fate.

Lets all sing songs that make us slit our wrists and watch the truth pour out ... The Horror in reality is how far we'll go to prove a lie and silence the truth .. well tonight .. the truth comes out.

Who I am Hates Who I've Been ...

The title (The song is by a band called "Relient K") perfectly describes how I feel about this picture.
This was my VERY first picture I had on face book when I first got it at the end of grade 9.

Every time I look at this picture a few questions always pop into my head:
1. Why?
2. Who did I think I was?
3. Why did NO ONE save me?
and of course ...
4. IS THIS why I seemed to almost next to NO FRIENDS that year?

... If you're interested in hearing the SONG that I have graciously named this post... Here it is:

Don't You Know Who I Think I Am?

When we talk about fiction, we talk about a world that doesn't exist. A reality outside of our own. When writer's publish fiction books, they are creating another world where they in control of the events and actions that take place within the story. We create fiction when we want to change the way things are in our own lives. Within our fictional creations we see the world the way we want things to be.
We see our own perfect utopia, yet we can never experience it because it is not real but a spawn of our imaginations.

Even from before we are born, our parents are creating a fiction of us. By coming up with names for their child, they are attributing those names to characteristics to that name they come up with. From boys names and girls names to names that evoke strength or names that point towards artistic interests. Even names that represent cultural influence make us fictions of our own parents worlds. They create us so that they may see the world they want through the lives of their children.
Throughout our childhood, our parents shape and create our personalities in attempts to create a fiction of who they want us to become. From buying our clothes to teaching us morals and ethics, they shape our individuality from the day we are born.

However as we grow older and are introduced to the media and we see the rest of the world, we start to separate what our own personal desires are as well as what we choose to no longer include in our lives. The new people we meet in the world become important us and our feeling of being accepted into the fiction world our parents have tried to create.

Furthermore, as we spend more and more time with our new found friends we realize that the fictional world and character our parents had tried to mold us into were completely wrong and nothing like what we had grown up to know. We've learned our own habits, developed our own interests and realized we didn't agree with everything our parents told us.

We do our best to fit in with everyone else. We keep up with latest trends and styles, while taking advice and ideas of our close friends. We do everything we can to be like everyone else while still attempting to remain our own unique individual. Our desire to fit in is sub conscience because although we don't seem to realize it, but it's our parents that push us to belong in a group of those that share similar interests and tastes that their child might have chemistry with.

As we grow older however, we find ways to create a balance. The fictional life our parents have made no longer exists. In it's place is the fictional life we ourselves have created through our life experiences. Spending time with our friends, learning new things and falling in love are but three of the endless influences we run into. We must also not forget the dark moments in our live as they also help strengthen us and help us appreciate the things we do have. They also remind us that our life isn't perfect and that ever fiction is flawed. The greatest solution is to do be yourself and to love yourself before others can love you.

A New Fear for Experienced Drivers?

That's right. Despite being a FULL YEAR LATE.

I finally have my G1. (Stop laughing.... I know you're probably mocking me right now).
Anyways, I realized that they would be using the picture I took when I FRST took and FAILED the test as my FIRST picture ID on my license card.

(I'm receiving my LEGIT one in 2-4 weeks so for now I shall carry a temporary license until then).

Which I DIDN'T mind.. Until I recalled when I took it FIRST.. which was January 2009.
Which I ALSO wouldn't mind.. If I didn't remember what I USED to look like ...

Needless to say... I'll definitely be looking forward to the 5 years I have to wait to take ANOTHER picture to replace it ...

Lights, Camera ... VERDICT!

Selling out never felt so amazing.

Selling out a THEATRE that is.

Lester B Pearson was JAM PACKED at what was a HUGE SUCCESS of a show!
"If I Ruled The World" was finally shown to the world. Along with a successful pre show that was made up of a powerful dance routine, wonderful singers and a short comedy skit, it was definitely a night to remember for both actors and audience alike. Although I felt confidence in myself as well as the overall performance, when I realized that we were an hour away from show time ... Everything slowly clicked in mind. That's when ALL the nervous excitement I SHOULD of felt during the days up to then was being jammed into an hour of emotion.

However, by putting our heads together (Literally AND Figuratively) the whole cast came together for each other and helped not only me but others overcome their nervous pre show excitement. Some of us were nervous, others were excited, I was both, some were freaking out, others kept their calm. All in all, we reacted just as we thought we would mere minutes before the show started.

The show turned out to be a huge success as we received NOTHING but positive praise, love and tremendous feedback from people who absolutely loved it and thought we did an amazing job with it.

It was an amazing experience as I had never performed in public in front of such a large scale audience.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that came out to support us, as well I'd like to congratulate everyone involved in making this one of the most memorable projects I have done!
"If I Ruled The World" will be a play I will NEVER forget (Once I get my own DVD copy, I'll be able to KEEP it forever).

My first of many .....

This will be the FIRST and LAST time I choose a DIFFERENT hairstyle for my haircuts.

I'm used to bringing in different pictures every time I get my haircut and it's ALWAYS something EXTREMELY different.

This time, I've decided to settle with ONE style and ONE style only.

I know right? ... It's SCARY how much it just looks like a SMALLER version of my PREVIOUS hairdo ... as if my hair SIMPLY SHRUNK!

Anyways, let me know what you guys think! I'll be sure I get back to you WHENEVER I can to update you on my interesting (or not) life along with ALL my creative pieces/ writing!
